The Garden Fair is an opportunity to see and learn from local master gardeners that understand all the challenges and rewards this high mountain desert community brings to gardening. The Demonstration Garden was designed to showcase the different types of plants and landscapes that are possible to grow in our local communities. There will be docents on hand to tour the garden with you and to discuss the plants and tips for growing them.

The plant sale will feature indoor and outdoor plants with annuals, perennials and vegetables grown by local gardeners; they should do well in your gardens. This fund raiser helps the master gardeners keep the demo garden going as well as other activities such as the biannual Garden Tour and your support is appreciated. These activities are free to the public.

Children of all ages are invited to join us for a fun gardening activity to make your own 'grass head'. We will have all the materials needed so that with a few simple steps you can make your own to take home. Then watch the grass seed sprout, bringing to life your own 'grass head'. A great opportunity for kids to learn the magic of gardening!

Informative talks will be presented under the Demo Garden Pergola.
